24mm Structural Super-Rope

For structural suspension of Rope Bridges and Treetop Walkways

40 tonnes certificated break-load

Material – Heat-set UHMwPE with polyurethane coating
Construction – 12-strand single braid
Extreme strength-to-weight ratio
15 x stronger than steel
20 x lighter than steel
Safer than wire (low recoil)
Hydrophobic fibre (no water absorption)
Floats
Low creep
Easy to splice
Resistant to kinking
Maintains high strength around tight-radius bends
Exceptional UV and chemical resistance
Abrasion-resistant coating reduces likelihood of snagging and provides superior winch drum grip
Low elongation (3% at break)
Certification can be supplied
A high-performance rope designed for ultra-low stretch
The high UV rating of the core means that the cover can be stripped without fear of a UV-related loss in strength.
Polyester cover fibres are used where strength, low stretch and durability is needed. The melting point of polyester is 260°C but starts to lose its strength at 150°C
Hemp colour

Other colours available:
Grey, black, white. Also – red/orange mottle, yellow mottle, green mottle, blue mottle and grey mottle
